NAMA (North American Mycological Association) Vouchers

Description: featured project thumbnailThe yearly North American Mycological Association (NAMA) foray is a gathering of professional and amateur mycologists from across the continent. The organization chooses a different location each year to meet, socialize, and collect hundreds of fungal specimens from nearby sites. Since 1997, one representative specimen from each species encountered has been photographed, documented, and added to the Field Museum's permanent collection. This unique, continent-wide assemblage is presented here.
