R. Singer

Current Determination: Agaricus rodmanii Peck
Family: Agaricaceae
Det. by: R. W. Kerrigan, 13 May 1993
Identification notes: I tentatively determine this material to be the undescribed species accessioned as "A. rodmani" (Farlow's determination) at FH and figured (incorrectly) as "A. brunnescens Pk." in the Icones Farlowianae. The only other possibility known to me would be A. bernardii, but the spores are unusually small for that species. [Further notes with specimen.]
