Habitat/Microhabitat: Scattered in open field, mostly growing single
Additional data: Cap is white, turning brown or tan, convex or flat, smoothish or uneven surface, 6 to 10 cm. broad; gills white, turning pinkish, and brown and finally black, crowded, the spores are black; stem is white, turning brown, stout, larger below, ring distinct; frequent in open ground and vacant lots.
