Habitat/Microhabitat: Bosque con dosel medianamente cerrado de 12 m de altura, con árboles emergentes de hasta 18 m de altura. Sotobosque medianamente denso. Capa de hojarazca delgada. En borde de potrero/sabana natural.
Additional data: Árbol. 6 m. Crece en bosquecito en medio de sabana. Raquis de la inflorescencia de color rojizo. Flores blancas con abundantes estambres de color blanco.
