Habitat/Microhabitat: Densely coating the branches of Banksia serrata and also occurring on the rocks of the adjacent cliff, the rim area subject to frequent cloud cover. Thalli erect, branched from the base, yellow-green
Additional data: Motyka does not include Australia in the distribution, listing only Brazil, Argentina and South Africa, but it was reported by Watts on the basis of specimens of Maitland determined by Bouly de Lesdain.
