Habitat/Microhabitat: White-sand beaches. Broad floodplain terraces, mostly brown sand, some clay-rich inundated areas and patches of flat, white sand soil. Some steep 30-m hills with thick root-mat and leaf litter.
Additional data: Herbácea de 1 m, bráctea rojo algo glauca, flores blancas.
