Description: Uses: Commonly cultivated garden vegetable. The tuber is roasted, but is not a favorite food (Anderson et al. 2003:35, 147). La raíz comestible; es melífera (néctar y polen), de su raíz (tubérculo) se hacen conservas y diversos dulces (Arellano et al. 2003:155). Edible (Atran 1993:657). Food (Balick et al. 2000:127). Common Names: Camote, iis, is, sweet potato (Anderson et al. 2003:35, 147). Camote, iz (Arellano et al. 2003:154). Sweet potato, camote, kamut (Atran 1993:657). Batatas, sweet potato (Balick et al. 2000:127).
