Description: Uses: Sap poisonous but does not cause a rash and is used to counteract or cure the rash from the box chechem. Resembles chechem only in having poisonous sap (Anderson et al. 2003:208). Tóxica; para construir casas; para hacer amarres (Arellano et al. 2003:108). Medicinal (Balick et al. 2000:105). Common Names: Sak chechem (Anderson 2003:208). Sakchechem [Barrera, 1976] (Arellano et al. 2003:108). Boob che', chechen blanco, x chooch kitam (Arellano et al. 2003:108). Image Notes: Seed: Elongate almond-shaped, smooth surface, pronounced apical hilum, round, pronounced and fugitive invaginated embryo insertion, approx. 10.0 mm diameter, seed 22.50 mm long.
