Description: Uses: Medicinal, can be chewed to put on cuts and wounds as first aid in the field. Boil leaves and bathe in the liquid for talking in sleep (Anderson et al. 2003:164). Spice, medicine (Balick et al. 2000:155). Common names: Ya'ax k'iix ('green thorn'), kojkeej ('deer tooth') (Anderson et al. 2003:52, 242, 313).
