Habitat/Microhabitat: aguada o cenote de unos 200 metros de diametro en esta epoca del año, convegetacion acuatica en las orillas con Cyperus spp., Bacopa sp. y Pluchea sp., rodeanda de una matriz de selva baja caducifolia bastante alterada con expecies arboreas como Bursera simaruba (Burseraceae) Gymnopodium floribundum (Polygonaceae) y Cnidoscolus aconitifolius y epifitas como Tillandsia brachycaulos; los margenes rocosos del cenote con Hechtia schotii.
