Description: Uses: Medicinal; curtiente, ornamental, forrajera para ganado bovino (Arellano et al. 2003:47). Food, medicine, poison (Balick et al. 2000:172). Common names: Lechuga (voucher). Xikincha', xikinchaak ('rain god's ear,' 'water lettuce') (Anderson et al. 2003:238). l'ibinja', i'binha', xikin chaak, xiikin chaak, lechuguilla de agua, oreja de chak [Barrera, 1976]; lechuga de agua, lechuga (Arellano et al. 2003:46).
