Habitat/Microhabitat: found in yard at Honey Camp but said to be found out in the bush were there is an outcrop of limestone.

En medicina las hojas en infusión y en forma de baños para tratar a la viruela [Standley, 1930]; ornamental; para setos vivos (setos herbáceos) (Arellano et al. 2003:591). Medicine (Balick et al. 2000:59). Common names: Frescura (Anderson et al. 2003:42). Siisal xiw, frescura, hierba de la viruela, yomha' [Barrera, 1976]; frescura, yonha (Arellano et al. 2003:591). Golondrina (Sin, Tab), [Martinez, 1979] (Arellano et al. 2003:591). Lace plant (Balick et al. 2000:59).
