Description: Uses: Medicinal, como antipirético [Del Amo, 1979]; para tratar camaras de sangre [Martinez, 1969]; diarrea [Standley, 1930, Anon, 1949, Osado R., 1834]; fiebre amarilla, erupciónes de la piel, vómito de sangre [Roys, 1931] (Arellano et al. 2003:408). Food, medicine, tannin, beverage, construction (Balick et al. 2000:113). Common names: Wild craboo (voucher). Chi - nance, box wayakte', k'aan ibin che', siip che', k'aan sibin che', (nancen), chi'; k'an-i'binche, kib che, k'aan sak xiw, sipche' [Barrera, 1976]; pico de paloma (Arellano et al. 2003:407). Ahualxocotl, ahuaxocotl (Tab), capuin (SLP), cereza, escobillo (Tab), escobo blanco (Chis), huacacote (Morelia), manzanita (Tam), nancen, tomatillo (Oax), palo de lumbre (Totonaca, Ver), [Martinez, 1979] (Arellano et al. 2003:408). Cherry, cipche, nancen, simche, wild craboo (Balick et al. 2000:113).
