Description: Uses: For stomach ache, in tea with regular elemuy (Anderson et al. 2003:208). En medicina para tratar infecciónes de encías [Roys, 1931]; melífera (nectarífera) (Arellano et al. 2003:536). Common names: Cherry (voucher). Sak elemuy (Anderson et al. 2003:208). Also as Pa'ayux (pa'aox, pa'ox)--this name also used for Colubrina gregii (Anderson et al. 2003:192). Bikbach [Martinez, 1979]; ix baach, palo de caja, [Barrera, 1976]; yaniya, ya'ax nej che', yu'uy, tres marías, manzanillo (Arellano et al. 2003:536). Bastard cherry, belo, bichach, bikbach, cherry, huesillok palo de caja, red seed (Balick et al. 2000:114).
