Description: Uses: Very important honey plant; sometimes boiled with wormwood to make a wash for body pains (Anderson et al. 2003:220). Los tallos para hacer papagayos, forraje para ganado caprino y porcino; y en medicina para tratar las evacuaciones con sangre [Mendieta, 1981]; melĂ­fera (polen) (Arellano et al. 2003:143). Common names: Taj, tajum (Anderson et al. 2003:301). Xbrijina kax, xoy, sul kak, julub, paay juul, xiw julub, hulub, payhul, xiwhulub [Barrera, 1976]; musa cimarrona (Chis), rosa amarilla tronadora (Sin), [Martinez, 1979] (Arellano et al. 2003:143).
