Common names: Lolha', naab, nukuch naab, nikte'ha', saknaab, xikinchaak [Barrera, 1976]; flor de agua, nelumbo blanco [Souza N., 1942]; sol de agua [Standley, 1930]; flor de sol (Arellano et al. 2003:458-459).
